The Heights of Heaven: An Afternoon of Chamber Music

Join Bryan, pianist Christopher Davis, and flutist Adriane Hill for a delightful afternoon of chamber music featuring the world premier of the song cycle The Heights of Heaven by composer Michael J. Bland. Other vocal works include English art songs by William Croft, Henry Purcell, Thomas Arne and English folk song arrangements by Benjamin Britten.

Chris Davis will present solo piano transcriptions by Franz Liszt of works by J.S. Bach and Franz Schubert.

Rounding out this afternoon of chamber music, flutist Adriane Hill and Chris Davis will present the "Sonata for Flute and Piano" Op. 14 by Robert Muczynski.

A reception with light refreshments will be offered after the recital.

Tenor Bryan Lane will present a solo recital of German art song and operatic classics. This varied program will feature works by Henry Purcell, Mozart, Rossini, Schubert, Schumann, Duparc and some folk and jazz standards.

The Art of Longing Recital

Join tenor Bryan Lane and pianist Christopher Davis in a performance of two of history's greatest song cycles, Ludwig Van Beethoven's "An die Ferne Geliebte" and Robert Schumann's "Liederkreis" Op. 39. This concert also features a world premiere of the piece "June Days" by composer Michael J. Bland and sublime piano music by Claude Debussy.
